sooo its been ages since i wrote on here. We are currently in Brisbane and have been here for over a week and wil be 2weeks in total when we go. It is really nice here a lovely city but if ur not working here and dnt have the moeny to go shopping everyday it can get a bit hard. We have got into a routine of waking up late and then walking to Southbank which is soooo nice it had a man made lagoon style beach and we sit on the grass bank and read our books for a few hours catch a bit of sun. Then we have also found free interent in the libary but it is soo slow and gets a bit annoying! we then go and buy food to cook. Cook food. Go to the roof, drink a bit of wine and usually end up in the club below our hostel dancing to cheesy music till late in the night.
Although..... last night we went for a wonder to the 24hr pancake house!!! at 1 in the morn. And i had 3stack of american style pancakes with butterscotch sauce and icecream and managed about 1 and a half and our friend Bryce had to eat the rest. I have learnt not to try eat 3pancakes 1 would have done me fine!
We also had another adventure the other day and went to go to see if we could buy tickets for a concert of the Wombats.. even tho it said it was sold out we thought we'd try and we ended up meeting the wombats outside and they put us on their guestlist and we go in for FREE! the concert was great but we had to avoid the silly girls who decided to wear heals to the concert.
We are planning to go to Surfers Paradise next but not sure for how long. From the stories it sounds like a bit of a pub crawl place and rather chilled out. We wil then go to Bryron Bay and hopefully stay in a place called the arts factory which everyone has raved about. Its ment to be very hippy place.
